OZARK MAPLE LEAVES debuted in print in Nancy Page's (aka Florence La Ganke's) syndicated quilt column on March 5, 1935. Her gorgeous four-patch illustrated left was clipped from the Hartford Courant — Page's column (not to be confused with Nancy Cabot) also appeared in the Birmingham News, etc. Barbara Brackman has 10 different designs titled MAPLE LEAF in her ENCYCLOPEDIA OF PIECED QUILT PATTERNS!!
