Quilt Notes: TWIN SISTERS considers the vertical and horizontal geometric forms twins (mirror images), and might be pieced with two similar, but not identical fabrics or colors. It is illustrated in Maggie Malone's 5500 QUILT BLOCK DESIGNS (#1363), with piecing grid as shown left, and dated back to the late 19th century Ladies Art Company Catalogue (#213).
